Spanish tour 20. 11. – 26. 11. 2013

Chief conductor Jakub Klecker pass  concert tour of Spain with soloists, chorus and orchestra Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno. The program includes most famous choirs and overtures of G. Verdi and R. Wagner and a concert performance of the opera The Flying Dutchman. The concerts will be held in Aviles, Santander, Pamplona, Zaragoza and Castellón.

From 01/11 2013 Jakub Klecker will be a chief conductor of the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno.

 

 

Kantilena led by Jakub Klecker won in Wales

Kantilena, choir of children and youth at the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, brought back two valuable trophies from 67 prestigious competition in Llangollen, Wales. In the category of youth choirs (18-25) Kantilena won the first place and in the category of female choirs Kantilena won the second place.
 

The Flying Dutchman at the National Theatre Brno

After the resignation of Peter Feranc on position of chief music Jakub Klecker was commissioned musical productions of Wagner's opera The Flying Dutchman, which will debut in Friday, 27/9 2013 at 19.00 in the Janáček Theatre in Brno. The nearest performances are held 29/9 at 19.00, 19/10 at 17.00, 29/10, 19/11 and 6/12 at 19.00 hours.
 

Concert in Zlín

On Thursday 25 April 2013 Zlín Philharmonic concert will be held at the Congress Centre in Zlín. The program includes the following works:

W. A. Mozart: Don Giovanni, Overture,
J. Novak: Choreae vernales for Flute with string orchestra, harp and celesta,
W.A. Mozart: Rondo in D Major for Flute and Orchestra KV 184,
B. Martinu: Symphony No. 4, H. 305

Carmen at the National Theatre in Prague

Jakub Klecker will conduct at the National Theatre in Prague on Wednesday 6/3 2013 from 19.00 hours. The program will include Carmen by G. Bizet. We cordially invite you!

 

 

Jenufa again in Brno 

Do not miss Janacek's opera Jenufa, which will be placed back in three performances on the stage of the National Theatre Brno. The performance will take place 1.2., 22.2. and 16.3., always from 19.00 pm.

 

Britten's Midsummer Night's Dream for the first time in the Czech Republic

The closest opera premiere of the National Theatre Brno will be Britten's Midsummer Night's Dream. It will be the Czech premiere conducted by Jakub Klecker. Gala Premiere will be held on 8/3/2013 from 7.00 pm in Janacek Theatre in Brno. Other performances will take place 10/3, 20/3, 6/4, and 23/5/2013 always from 7.00 pm and 1/6/2013 from 5.00 pm.

Debut at the Nuremberg State Theatre

Conductor Jakub Klecker successfully debuted in Nuremberg Opera. January 8, 2013 he conducted Verdi's opera Aida.
